Name Windows Server
Windows Server for Qlik Sense Admins
Overview
This is a quality of life type of a step. Servers are given names by default but the default names are hard to make sense of. To make servers more manageable and organized, they are assigned names that make more sense than a random collection of letters and numbers. Sometimes server names follow a specific naming convention and sometimes they get more humorous names, like Heimdall - all-seeing, all-hearing, and the sole protector of the Bifröst in Asgard. Sounds like a perfect name for a Domain Controller.
What you name your servers is completely up to you but the overarching idea behind naming servers is to make it easier to identify various servers in your environment. Have fun with it. Let's begin!

Summary
All Set!
You now have a server with a new name that's more meaningful, personal, and maybe funnier. Humor is not my strong suit and unfortunately the name Heimdall didn't come to me until after I took all the screenshots so DC-01 it is.
Up next is setting a static IP address on a server. This is similar to assigning a unique name but there's not as much room for creativity. I'll see you in the next lesson!
